01 / The right fit

When your freight
needs room.

Some loads fill the space long before they reach the weight limit.

Our custom curtainsider and matching trailer bridge the gap between a small courier van and a larger rigid lorry. It’s a considered choice for bulky, lightweight goods — with the loading flexibility to suit real working sites.

Designed for practical access.

01

Open up both sides

Dual-side curtainsiders allow forklift access to both units. Load arrangements depend on the goods and the space at your site.

02

Load through from the rear

An internal aluminium bridge ramp has a company-stated 2,000 kg rating for equipment, load and any operator combined, subject to suitable point loads. Suitable pedestrian pallet trucks can move between the coupled decks. It is not a tail lift and must not be used by a forklift.

03

Adapt to the site

The trailer can be detached where the main vehicle is more suitable. Tell us about access restrictions and loading equipment.

03 / A considered approach

Every bit of space.
A little more thought.

Space for bulky goods.
A practical focus on efficiency.

Responsible transport starts with a simple question: what does the load actually need? We match suitable lightweight freight to the available space and plan local movements carefully.

Consolidating suitable goods into one planned movement may help avoid unnecessary journeys or unused capacity. The outcome depends on the route, the load and the alternatives.

A few useful answers

Before
we get moving.

Get in touch

How many pallets can you carry?

Up to 25 Euro pallets (1200 × 800 mm), or alternatively up to 20 UK Standard pallets (1200 × 1000 mm). These are alternative configurations, not a combined capacity. The actual count depends on dimensions, loading arrangement and permissible weights.

What counts as bulky, lightweight freight?

Packaging, insulation, lightweight manufactured goods and suitable event or production materials are useful examples. Send the overall dimensions and estimated total weight, including pallets and packaging. We assess each load before confirming suitability.

Can a forklift load from the side?

Yes. Both units have dual-side curtains for forklift access. Tell us which loading equipment is available at each site and whether there is space to work alongside the vehicle.

How does rear loading work?

An internal aluminium bridge ramp has a company-stated 2,000 kg rating for equipment, load and any operator combined, subject to suitable point loads. A suitable hand or pedestrian pallet truck can move between the coupled decks without unhitching. This is not an additional cargo allowance or equipment approval. It is not a tail lift; forklifts must not drive over it.

Where do you operate?

We are based in Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12, with a primary operating area of approximately 30 miles. This includes Slough Trading Estate, Reading, Theale, Heathrow cargo hubs and the M4/M3 corridors. Send both postcodes so we can confirm your route.

Can you arrange a regular shuttle?

Yes, dedicated local shuttle routes are one of our core services. Let us know the collection and delivery points, typical load, frequency and any time or access constraints. We will discuss suitable arrangements and availability.

What if I don’t know all the load details?

You can request advice with just your name, email and a short description. Photographs are not required by the form. If you know them, dimensions, total weight, pallet format and loading arrangements help us assess the job. Your enquiry is not a confirmed booking.

Can the vehicle operate without its trailer?

The trailer can be detached when the main vehicle alone better suits a site. This changes the available space and load arrangement. Access, vehicle restrictions and suitability must be checked for each movement.
